I am hosting my first gallery show in Salt Lake City on the 18th of November. 

2 years almost to the day of my layoff (due to the economy) as a web designer, I was accepted to host my own photographic show at a local gallery. To say I am excited would be an understatement. The challenges of changing careers in this downturn have forced me to focus my goals and to work hard at completing them. This was one of my goals. 

Now that I am hosting this event, the reality of the costs associated are becoming another challenge for me. I will need 100's of images printed (about 30 of them are large), marketing materials, catering... the list goes on. The costs are around $3,000 to make a dent in this list. I can cover roughly half of that but would love to see it through to the full $3,000.
