The Beginning

The first book of the Peas and Bananas series - Peas and Bananas Outside with Lil Boo is an illustrated children’s book based on the creative events experienced through the eyes of Lil Boo, my son. The events in the first story are based on exploring an array of outdoor adventures from his perspective as told by myself (Daddy Bookins) from the letters A to Z in a fascinating rhyming adventure outside.

Ages 3-7

The Sequel - This Project

The second book of the Peas and Bananas series - Peas and Bananas at the Zoo with Lil Boo is the sequel to the three part series.  The events in this story will be just as adventurous as Lil Boo, Onote along with a new friend Roo explore a vast array of animals at the Zoo.  Continuing with the theme of book one, the story will be written in a playful prose with the subtle inclusion of learning the alphabet.

Ages 3-7

Kickstarter Project

Successfully funding this project will allow us to cover the costs associated with self-publishing Peas and Bananas at the Zoo with Lil Boo through our publishing agent Booklocker along with professional editing fees.  This amount totals: $995 (less the 5% to Kickstarter and 3% to Amazon).

The illustrator Dania Piotti (www.caribimbi.com) has graciously agreed to return and do the illustrations to Peas and Bananas at the Zoo with Lil Boo.  Assisting in making this project more attainable, we have partnered together as a team to offset illustration costs.  Of which I am entirely grateful for her generosity.

If we are fortunate enough to raise more than our goal, the additional funds will be used for marketing and promotional means, as with the start of this project we will formally begin our grassroots effort.

I cannot thank you enough for supporting this project and keeping the series alive.
