This production of "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardobe" is an original adaptation written by Rachel Thuermer based on CS Lewis' classic "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" featuring actors age 4 through adult. We are excited to bring Narnia to life on stage for you!
Throughout the process of the production, the youth and adults will get hands-on experience in many areas of a theatrical production including rehearsals, costume design, set/lighting, makeup, stage combat, and of course, performance.
In order to create the unique special effects planned for this production, we are looking to raise additional funds. Our goal of $1,000 will fund the elaborate realistic Quad Puppet/costume for Aslan.
"A quad suit is a fursuit (costume made of fur) that utilizes the wearer's arms as forelegs which assume the position of a quadruped character's own forelegs on the same ground or surface as the character's hindlegs. Such suits, which are less common than biped fursuits, are used in order to further impress individuals with a more "animalistic" (hence, realistic) pose and manner of movement."
