Update #12: And we're back...C-Loops and Tripods, together at last!
Hi Backers,
After we released the C-Loop, a common request was the ability to use it with a tripod at the same time. Finally, after extensive development and R&D, we are happy to announce that we have come up with a solution and more.
We call it the M-Plate™. Check out our project on Kickstarter. We appreciate your help in backing or even just spreading the word for us!

Update #10: #1 2011 Update from Custom SLR
Hi Backers,
Welcome to 2011! Hope you had a fun and safe holiday.
The 2nd batch of C-Loops (black and silver) will be shipping out in the second half of January. The CNC has been running around the clock machining the units out. We appreciate everyone's continued patience and thank you for the kind feedback from those who have already received them.

Update #8: Mini Update - Production Engraving
Hey guys,
Getting closer and closer! Here's a first peek at how the stylistic engraving will look on top of an unassembled part (cosmetic). Production units will be uniform in finish. As you may remember, this was originally one of several cost reducing measures we implemented to decrease the cost of manufacturing the C-Loop. Even then, we spec'd everything down to line width and just the right depth to make sure it complemented the overall design. More to come!

This is great! Love your products -- and happy to support this, too. (Especially since I really need one!)
it would be cool if you had the same lever screw system on the c-loop could used be on the m-plate. instead of the bare screw.
I echo Matt's comment. The lever screw system makes it so much easier to uninstall the C-loop especially when you need to change camera body using same strap quickly. Having the M-plate using a similar system would be excellent!
