SleepDrops™ will be integrating support for the COOKOO™ watch into its app.
This means that with a touch of the COMMAND button on the COOKOO™ watch you can:
- Block the notifications you don't want
- Choose which notifications to receive on your watch
- Send automatic responses to people when you're busy
By combining the COOKOO watch and SleepDrops app, we are giving people a fast way to discretely send notifications to your wrist, versus having to constantly pull your phone out of your pocket or purse.

@Ariel @Miles - I'll defer to SleepDrops on any limitations that they might face when trying to launch their app - I will say that the Connected App will be released in the app store, and that the features offered there will be inline with Apple's developer guidelines.

SleepDrops is jailbreak only.. So you'll have to have iOS5 *and* jailbreak your phone to use SMS and sleepdrops up front, or have iOS 6 and bluetooth MAP, but no sleepdrops.. Or wait a while for iOS6 to be jailbroken, then you can have both.

SleepDrops will never make it into the AppStore. It is NOT allowed for one app to interfere with activity of another app (sandboxing). It seems the developers are aware of this fact as they mention in their FAQ Cydia and jailbroken iDevices.

@Jay - The SleepDrops app is a great example of what can be done when you integrate the COOKOO watch with an app using the ConnectedDevice API. Their first version will be focused on the iOS platform, but they have plans for Android in the future.

@Zetura: With Sleepdrops you get full control over your notifications. Unlike with the 'Do Not Disturb' function in iOS 6, which only lets you suppress - ALL - your notifications.

Well, it's like the new feature "Do Not Disturb" in iOS 6, right ? And it will be free, no need to pay 3$ ;) But thanks for the idea, and i see that we can configure which app will have the right to "disturb" us :)
