About this project

While studying fine art through an exchange program off the West coast of Ireland, something magical happened. Actually, several magical things happened…such as watching waves break against the cliffs of Moher, exploring ancient ring forts, holy wells, and dolmens, and swimming in the cold bioluminescent waters at night time. Spending time in the pub listening to old Irish folk songs sung by the locals was also quite magical-- but it was my own discovery of music-making that really surprised me. Before I knew it, I was voraciously writing and recording songs- my technical ability unable to keep up with my racing musical thoughts. Every spare moment outside of my drawing studio was spent working on new song ideas. I returned to Chicago with a full notebook, and blind ambition.

It is now two years later, and I have played many shows, released two EPs, and have had such a wonderful time learning about music and collaboration with other musicians. I've come a long way, but I want to keep on going! The next step is to record my very first full length album- and I couldn't be more excited. I've got the material, I've got all the musicians, I've booked the studio time with an amazing engineer, and now all I need is a little help from my friends.
