As the project comes to a close, I want to take a moment to say thanks to all my supporters. This has been an incredible experience. I learned a great deal and met a ton of great people from all around the world. I even received offers to sell the mBrace in stores and online. WOW!
For those who contributed and those who spread the word to your friends colleagues and family members, thank you so much for your support. As I hope you are aware, if the project isn't successful (per the conditions of the Kickstarter platform), your credit card won't be charged.
Regardless of the outcome of this project, I will continue working to develop the mBrace and I'm committed to bringing it to the public this year. For those interested please follow me on Twitter (@CDifferent) or visit www.CreativityDifferent.com to keep up with the progress and development of the mBrace and learn when, where and how you can finally get your very own mBrace. ;-)
Some people have inquired or left comments about the pledge goal. I wanted to quickly respond to that now at the close of the project.
I realize that $75K seems like a lot, but since I'm not a professional product designer, I wanted to make sure I delivered the best product I could to my supports (e.g. quality, style and simplicity). That meant I had to work with a professional to guide and assist me with the design, materials and the manufacturing process. Unfortunately, that type of help isn't cheap. I tried to account for that anticipated cost as well as overall development costs in my pledge goal.
Thanks again for your interest and support.
