Create Peace Project is ready to run a 2nd printing of our arts-for-peace educational resource; Let's Create Peace.  This amazing booklet includes three modules for learning: Daily Peace Practices, Arts-for-Peace Projects, and Peace Studies.  It is filled with beautiful color photos from our work around the world.  Let's Create Peace is 70 pages and includes instructions for more than 30 projects, exercises and activities.  

It's time to promote peace to our youth!  We live in a world filled with violence and in order to create positive change, we must empower our youth to take thoughtful and peaceful action.  Let's Create Peace is designed for teachers and educators, providing the tools necessary to promote peace and spread positive messages with youth around the world using creativity!  

It is absolutely essential for us to "be the change we want to see in the world."  Our youth know about peace and they understand it's importance!  We must now nurture and cultivate that inner peace and share it via positive messages with the world using art as a way to spread a ripple of love and hope into the world.  That's what Create Peace Project is all about!

We are hoping to raise $5,000 (GOAL: $3775) to print 300 copies, promote, distribute, train teachers, web enable, and host an on-line tele-conference for educators this fall.

We are excited to publish the 2nd Edition of this amazing collection of arts-for-peace projects, peace practices, and learning activities in order to share this unique resource with teachers and educators across the globe.  Let's Create Peace is already being used by a group of 10 educators in Hoima, Uganda who have been working in several schools with thousands of kids to start Create Peace Clubs in local schools. We have also left copies with colleagues in Kathmandu, Nepal, and send the rest to numerous activists, educators and teachers across the United States!  

With the next 300 copies we will spread this resource into the hands of teachers far and wide, catalyze numerous arts-for-peace initiatives across the U.S. and abroad, train educators and community leaders wherever we travel, and continue to give teachers the projects and tools they need to create peace in the lives of our youth using creativity!

Funds will be used like this:

• Printing 300 copies @ $10 each = $3,000  
• Web Enable: make available on-line in a downloadable form = $400  
• Marketing/Promotion = $300 
• Hosting two tele-conference training = $300
• Editing = $600
• Graphic Design = $400
