What's CRAFT LADIES?

CRAFT LADIES is an 8 episode web series about two best friends, Jane and Karen. Although they are completely different, they share a long history together from childhood and a huge part of it is their love of crafts. And wine...and combining the two for a craftastic time. Their motto is Craft Up Nice Things! And that's what they encourage their audience to do in every episode. Just like Jane and Karen, Lauren and Tiffany have a love for crafting. A particular hiccup in their crafting endeavors gave them the idea to write a series about the perils and fun they have when getting together to make something crafty. While writing the show, they discovered how popular the world of crafting is starting with Pinterest. That's when the idea to write a comedy about crafting become a MUST! It's become a super fun project for everyone that comes on board. CRAFT LADIES has assembled a high quality team to achieve the colorful, fun, blast of hilarity needed to make this show up to par with their craft idols. Who are the CRAFT LADIES?

LAUREN DE LONG knew she was a crafter from a very young age. True, her first sewing project  was a dress made using a stapler, glue and left over fabric but Craft Ladies use what they can!!! To support her crafting habits Lauren took to the stage. She spent a year in New York as a memeber of the Mosaic Acting Ensemble and enjoys working in Los Angeles on features and commercials. You can see her in The Retrievers, with Betty White and she recently appeared as Brenda Russo on CSI: New York. Lauren’s favorite projects on DVD include 99 Pieces, Nite Tales (hosted by Flavor Flav), and The Humdrummer.

TIFFANY ANNE PRICE originally started crafting in girl scouts in Phoenix, AZ.  She comes from a very crafty mom that made all her clothes growing up and still has the sewing machine that made them. Her lifelong dream of being on a sitcom brought her to Los Angeles where she attended iOWest, Groundlings, and UCB.  She starred in a feature called BREAST PICTURE, alongside Joey Kern and UCB co-founder, Matt Walsh, now on Netflix. After a brief stint of standup at the Comedy Store, she wrote an hour long one woman show called "Confessions of a Cat Lady (with a side of crazy!)." She is currently performing her show all over Los Angeles and has a couple festivals under her belt. She most recently was nominated for BEST ONE PERSON SHOW in the Hollywood Fringe Festival as well as named BEST OF FRINGE with a show extension. More festivals and shows are on the horizon.

She loves creating art that is bold, imaginative and meaningful, and these Craft Ladies are at the leading edge of human potential when it comes to crafting. And wine consumption. JON MCPHALEN is an actor, writer, and sometimes producer/director that does -- like his character, Phil -- know how to operate a camera! A native of Los Angeles, Jon started acting professionally in Dallas where he appeared as JFK for several Discovery Channel programs, and had a memorable part in the hit comedy, "The Night of the White Pants" starring Tom Wilkinson and Nick Stahl. Jon is having great fun unleashing his inner Phil on the ladies of "Craft Ladies."
