CowDivas ~ Second Millennium Cowgirls
Our goal...
The CowDivas' goal is to produce an inspiring 12 month calendar for 2013 featuring authentic cowgirls and equestrians. Our calendar will feature stunning on-location images by female photographers depicting contemporary cowgirls and their horses and pairing them with quotes and stories to inspire women to pursue their dreams and goals - whether they live on a 1,000 acre ranch or in a 1,000 square foot apartment in mid-town.
We aim to shine a fresh light on the new American cowgirl. To portray them as the sophisticated, diverse, smart, and fashionable women that they are. Our goal is to provide 365 beautiful days of beauty, empowerment, and encouragement to women of all ages, shapes, sizes, and demographics.
Each month will feature a work of art by one of 3 female photographers - with each image featuring two to six CowDivas. Tasteful images that appeal to men and women and are appropriate for all ages. The date grid will denote prominent rodeos, horse shows, expositions, and fun facts - such as George Strait's birthday - the National Day of the Cowboy, and plenty of others. Our initial run of 5,000 calendars will be for sale on our website and through on-line and storefront retailers.

Who we are...
Welcome to the world of the contemporary American cowgirl. You may be surprised to learn what "cowgirls" are about in this new millennium. We've embraced this new, versatile breed and coined the term "CowDivas".
A true CowDiva goes without absolute definition.
Each is an exceptional individual, and yet, all have common qualities. She is individually beautiful on the outside, but most importantly she is an intoxicating blend of femininity, strength, ability, desire, and determination which decidedly sets her apart from others.
A CowDiva isn't afraid of getting a little dirt under her finely manicured nails. "Hat hair" is a badge of honor and strolling confidently into a restaurant with her spurs still on her dusty boots isn't unfamiliar territory. But, don't misunderstand... every true CowDiva loves to get dolled-up and take the town by storm from time-to-time. She's just as comfortable in sky-high heels and a little dress as she is in her boots and jeans. A veritable chameleon that you can be sure will be back in her favorite element come morning: the barn.
CowDivas come from all walks of life. Students, business owners, teachers, models, horse trainers, law enforcement, homemakers and everything in-between. From every corner of the United States and Canada with others living as far away as Germany and Australia.
The heart of a true competitor beats in her chest. In disciplines as varied as barrel racing and dressage to team roping and jumping...you will find CowDivas competing for top prize money across the country and around the globe on a daily basis.

For each contribution of $35 or more, we will also include one and 2013 CowDivas calendar.

$50 - $99: A framed and matted image from the 2013 CowDivas calendar with one of the inspirational quotes inlaid in the matt and two calendars. One calendar will be personalized and autographed by at least 5 of the women featured in the images. For each additional $20.00 increment in backing (over $70), you will receive one additional calendar.
Pledge $100 or more Pledge $100 or more
$100 - $249: A framed and matted image from the 2013 CowDivas calendar with one of the inspirational quotes inlaid in the matt and two calendars. One calendar will be personalized and autographed by at least 5 of the women featured in the images. For each additional $20.00 backing (over $150) we will also provide a copy of the calendar and a CowDivas luggage tag. Your birthday will be included on the calendar grid and noted as a CowDivas Silver Buckle level backer.
Pledge $250 or more Pledge $250 or more
$250 - $499: A framed and matted image from the 2013 CowDivas calendar with one of the inspirational quotes inlaid in the matt. The matt will be signed by the women featured in the image and will include a Gold Buckle Backer placque. Five calendars plus one calendar will be personalized and autographed by at least 5 of the women featured in the images. For each additional $20.00 backing (over $350) we will also provide a copy of the calendar and a CowDivas luggage tag. Your birthday will be included on the calendar grid and noted as a CowDivas Gold Buckle level backer,
Pledge $500 or more Pledge $500 or more
$500 - $999: A framed and matted image from the 2013 CowDivas calendar with one of the inspirational quotes inlaid in the matt as well as an attached Platinum Buckle Backer placque. The matt will be signed by the women featured in the image. Five calendars will be personalized and autographed by at least 5 of the women featured in the images plus 5 additional copies of the calendar. For each additional $20.00 backing (over $650) we will also provide a copy of the calendar and a CowDivas luggage tag. Your birthday will be included on the calendar and noted as a CowDivas Platinum Buckle level backer.
Pledge $1,000 or more Pledge $1,000 or more
$1000 - This level is more of a commercial level backing. This level will be paired with your company's logo and products featured in the image. We reserve the right to determine whether a product is suitable for our calendar. Good fits would be boots, jeans, cowboy hats, tack, jewelry and western accessories. Your website and contact information will be printed as well as your logo. You will receive 25 copies of the calendar. If you have a stallion you are campaigning, this may also be a great opportunity to market him or your breeding program. We would be willing to feature your horse(s) in one or more of the photographs.

Born and raised in Oregon - and surrounded by horses, ponies, and assorted livestock - as well as an amazing circle of friends and relatives - they are my inspiration for CowDivas. With my track record of "doing what needs to be done" and in the printing industry, I can't wait to get this project started. If it turns out half as amazing as what I see in my mind's eye, its going to be incredible!
