Courtney McClean & the Dirty Curls are looking to create our first super profesh EP of seven naughty country songs for your listening (and otherwise) pleasure. We've been playing so many shows lately and garnering so many new fans, we'd like to have something gorgeous and well-made to send home with them. We'd also like to have a quality sample of our music to send out to venues around the world so that later this year we may embark on a tour.
We've already got a recording studio lined up with an engineer, an idea of the album artwork, and even a sweet song lineup:

The studio is about $75 per hour and our friend is mixing it, so hopefully we'll be saving some money there, but because we want to make this project sound great, it will probably take quite a few hours to do so. Printing and duplicating the CDs is going to run us about $570. Mailing and distributing them to venues across the nation, plus all the supplies needed to do so, will cost a little bit too. And if we end up having a bit of a cushion, we'll put that towards the CMC & The Dirty Curls TOUR VAN (our NEXT Kickstarter project)!
We're going to have fantastic arrangements for the CD: Courts just got a new banjo, Coco modded out her washboard, Bunny's perfecting the bass, Nicole is bustin' out amazing harmonies.

Courtney McLean is an actress, stand-up comedian, writer, storyteller, improviser, banjo player, sister, daughter, native Californian, transplanted New Yorker, and somewhat newly-minted Minnesotan. Her one-woman shows, "Normal-C" and "Super Glossy!" have toured to Fringe Festivals across the nation. She is a proud founding member of Rockstar Storytellers. She writes naughty comedy songs and plays them to uncomfortable, blushing crowds whenever possible.
