Book 1, EXP is already complete.

The purpose of EXP is to reject the idea that a video game magazine has to be be comprised of reviews and previews of the latest games. It hones in on the gap between game magazines and design magazines, embracing the relationship between video games and artists. A big focus of the magazine is the experience games provide, and how that is a great inspiration for creative people to draw from.

Basically, the well designed, image dominant publication that video game art fans have been waiting for. EXP features art and interviews from the likes of Capybara Games, Jeff Luke, Terry Cavanagh, and Maré Odomo

EXP has already been featured on Kotaku, Go Nintendo, 4 Color Rebellion, Game Set Watch, and more.

Not to be confused with Mathew Kumar's exp.

What I want to do is get EXP mass produced, so it could be sold online at a lower price, and get in as many hands as possible. In addition, I would also like to fund a second book called The Controller. It would be very similar in design and spirit, but feature more writers and a greater variety of contributors. Lastly, this would fund printing and postage of screen-printed EXP posters seen here.

The Controller will probably be out August/September, and I'm planning on giving all profits to Child's Play.
