Update #12: New Incentive to Hit Our Goal!
We have 5 days on the clock and $10,050 on the board.
That might sound like a lot, but we know we can do it together! On Monday a lot of you shared links on Facebook, posted to your blogs, and tweeted your support. This made a huge difference and we had our busiest Monday ever! Keep that up through the weekend and you're likely to find a package from Zakelro! on your doorstep next Spring!
We did some crunching of numbers to try and make our goal look a little less intimidating. Here's what we came up with:
- We need 225 more backers to pledge $45 to squeak past our goal.
- That's 45 backers and $2,025 a day for the next 5 days.
We don't know about you, but that still sounds pretty daunting to us! So we went back to our calculator, ran some more numbers, and found something interesting:
- If every single one of of our 343 current backers convinced just one more person to pledge $29.30, we'd hit our goal.
So here's what we're going to ask of you and what we're going to give you in return!
Think of one person you know who probably has $27 they could spare. Maybe they're interested in new approaches to storytelling and games, maybe they're not. Maybe they'd be interested in getting games to hospitalized kids, or in buying a Spinner Bundle as a gift for a family member. Maybe they'd just be willing to contribute because they know how enthusiastic you are about getting your hands on Bhaloidam.
Regardless, if every single one of you convinced just one person to pledge $27, We're certain that--along with the regular daily increases we've been seeing--it would easily carry us to the goal.
In return--if we make our goal--every single backer who pledges $27 or more (excluding our charity options) will receive a bonus comic-book containing Weaverless Variant Rules. This variant will give you the tools your Skein needs to build storyworlds without a Weaver right out of the box. These hand-signed and personally-dedicated Weaverless Variant comic books are a backer-exclusive and will never be available in print form again.
And if you help us hit our goal by Friday evening, we'll announce an additional incentive (quite possibly related to Corvus's moustache) to help us push our funding just a little bit further over the weekend!
