Hello Backers!
I thought you might enjoy a quick peek behind the scenes of sand animation. In this video, I explain some of the tools and techniques I use making "A Tangled Tale". Please pass it along, and don't forget to tell you friends and family to back the project! Only 4 days left.
As always, thank you so much for your support.
~Corrie
P.S. We are only $141 away from $10K. There's a lucky person out there who will get a unique work of art when they push us over the edge. Please spread the word!
This project successfully raised its funding goal on November 7.
LITTLE MINNOW - I won't throw you back, every little bit adds up! As a thank you, your name will be integrated into a very cool, artsy design on the backers page on the website!
NEW REWARD! A .mp3 download of the original score of the film by composer Mark Orton. Bound to be a beautiful and unusual piece of music that stands on its own!
LITTLE FISH in a BIG POND - An HD digital download of the finished film plus a hand-written thank you note in the dying art of cursive! Hang onto this one, it will be worth something someday. Also a heartfelt thanks on the backers page on the website.
IT'S A KEEPER! - A DVD copy of the finished film with your name in the credits rolling up the big screen! The DVD will include special features, like behind-the-scenes footage and additional short films by yours truly. A great value if you like hard-to-find animation!
RBI (RainBow-In) - Set of 6 hand--crafted notecards featuring original artwork from the film and an autographed DVD with the special features mentioned above.
"Bell Shower" - Limited edition 8x10 hand-tinted sand painting, signed by the artist. A beautiful and unusual work of art to grace the walls of your home (see Update #3 for image)! Plus a DVD copy of the film.
"Tallac Tack" - Limited edition 8x10 hand-tinted sand painting, signed by the artist. A beautiful and unusual work of art to grace the walls of your home (see Update #3 for image)! Plus a DVD copy of the film.
THE ALL-DAYER - If we could just reel these in all day, that'd be a great day! Along with all the goodies above, you'll receive a Limited Edition 8x10 signed print of artwork from the film AND and extra copy of the DVD to give away to a friend, library or school.
NEW REWARD! A series of 4 hand-drawn charcoal storyboard panels, mounted and framed! See update #6 for a sample, but you can choose which part of the story you want in the your sequence (first come, first choice as there are a limited number of panels). These are not digital images. I always storyboard on paper first so you will get a rare, physical piece of the film!
THE FATTY - Hit the town with 2 tickets to a festival screening of your choice. (Travel not included, but I'll do my best to get the film into a festival near you!) Not to mention all the swag from above.
THE STEELIE - The prized catch! Commission a personal sand painting. An utterly unique work of art for your home, you can choose the subject and I will create a unique image in the hand-tinted style of the film, professionally printed on archival German etching paper. You'll receive Associate Producer credit, 2 tickets to a festival screening of your choice and the DVD copies etc.
THE WHOPPER! - I'll be telling stories about this one! Executive Producer Credit + a personal private screening at the venue of your choice with the people of your choice. Invitations to the premier for you and your posse plus all the other rewards.
