Kickstarter

We are CooBee Coo, a performing and recording duo with a strong desire for engineering and producing original music.  We are not afraid to record the sounds of a beat up trash can or a wooden fish in our music!  The two of us quickly became friends as we both discovered a strong passion for writing original material.  We were offered a tremendous opportunity to utilize an old farm house built in the late 1950’s on almost three acres of land in the suburbs of Gilbert, AZ. We rolled up our sleeves and went to work to renovate the farm house into a comfortable recording studio now call Studio At The Farm which opened in early 2010.  The studio is currently ready for artists within the local community as well as bands or artists touring on a national level.

With backgrounds in musicianship, production, and engineering, we compiled tracks and ideas for an original album that would represent our writing creativity and promote the high quality of audio recording that Studio At The Farm strives to create.  The music was given the name CooBee Coo which is a stripped down version of the phrase (could be cool). The album is fully tracked and mixed and is called “Melodies From The Farm.”  

“Melodies From The Farm,” represents a creative formula of both musicianship and production.  The entire album was written and tracked in the studio by the two of us using unique formulas for microphone placements, mixing, and performing.  We desire to create music using authentic takes, working overtime rather than utilizing drum replacement sounds and auto-tune vocals.  We both had a clear and concise approach to exactly how we wanted this original material portrayed to listeners.  The music was created very organically with no pressure of pop structures and overproduced sound.  The album has 12 tracks total and consists of 47 minutes of audio.
