Your support will fund my new line, Magical Light and Dark Nights Collection. I will be doing my FIRST trade show COUER LA in downtown Los Angeles in October 2012. I am so excited and by supporting my project I will be able to showcase my new collection to retail buyers and taste makers!!

Inspired by the spiritual light present in the darkness, 'Magical Light’ represents the strength of the human spirit, which is present in ‘Dark Nights’ and difficult situations that we face in this world!  The 'dark night' is regarded by mystics and others as a blessing in disguise.

Understanding the importance of seeing the ‘artist’s hand’ in works of art influences me when I create jewelry and it is a spiritual experience for me. I meditate before creating my designs which allows me to be used as a creative vessel. My inspirations come from all forms of art and everyday life. I use the ancient practice of lost-wax carving. All pieces are uniquely one-of-a-kind and handmade by me.

Total Cost Breakdown:

$2000 Purchasing metals and precious stones to be set into the jewelry: sapphires, rubies & diamonds, gold, chain, findings.

$1000 Casting and production for a sample collection of 'Dark Nights of the Soul' & my one-of-a-kind "Aqua Aura" necklaces. All castings are recycled sterling silver.

$1000 Hire a photographer, models, hair and make-up stylist for my photographs in my line sheets and look book. This will help me get my vision out in the world and catch the attention of boutiques!

$500 Marketing Materials; postcards, line sheets, look book, press packets.

$500 Extras. Any forgotten materials, credit card processing fees for pledges, Kickstarter fees for so generously helping me spread the word.
