This Fall we are releasing a NEW EP. Three original songs "Heart Attack," "Ghosts," and "Don't Remember Me," will be included alongside 3 crowd favorite cover's. "Knuckles," by the Hold Steady, Johnny & Molly's haunting rendition of "No Children," by the Mountain Goats and "Golden Slumbers," the classic from the Beatles. The EP is available for pre-sale exclusively here on Kickstarter and will be shipped to you September 19th! (The first 100 will be signed by the band!) This will be a tour-exclusive item (available as a CD at live shows ONLY) you won't be able to download it or order it until it's formal release in November...so get it HERE...NOW!
The critically acclaimed debut album "Soundtrack to the End," has been re-mixed by Brad Kern (Semisonic, Mike Doughty, Dan Wilson) and mastered by Greg Reierson (everyone!) It will be released on Vinyl (first 500 special edition 180 gram white vinyl), and as a deluxe CD (with 12 page booklet, lyrics and additional artwork). Our goal is to take this record out and show indie-music lovers far and wide what the Twin Cities have been raving about.
We're currently in the final stages of planning an ambitious Fall Tour (40+ dates) that will take us across the US and put us in front of many of our kick-ass fans who have never seen us live! As one can imagine, touring is a tremendous undertaking (we've been eating on the cheap, clipping coupons, and tightening our belts at every turn in order to make this happen). Every nickel raised in excess of our goal will go directly into a fund for Tour Support ensuring we get safely and semi-comfortably to your town. Our 3 month travels will require over $15K (gas, hotels, food, the occasional pair of cheap sunglasses) - before any of us even pay a single bill @ home (kinda scary right?) We're trying to be as creative as possible in order to make this a successful endeavor... including taking on sponsors for the tour.
Alongside these release's we'll be crafting a line of new merchandise (along with a couple "Kickstarter EXCLUSIVE" items) that you'll see posted in the Updates section. The upper level rewards will allow you to select (mix and match) the items you want!
