From Whence They Came
Nesting in Las Vegas, the Flock has (or is it have?) filmed about 30 short segments, all but 1 of which are cardiac-inducingly funny.* The remaining (funny) sketches have been cut into a half-hour sitcom pilot, which will be shopped to basic cable networks as soon as it’s finalized, edited for sound, tested and marketed. We also have daily “tweeses” spewing forth from @FlockofMeese.
Webseries
Supporting the pilot are several stand-alone comedy shorts, to be released weekly online beginning 8/8/11. These webisodes will spread the Gospel of the Meese, and hopefully generate enough of a fan base that the cable networks won’t be able to ignore us. If that doesn’t work, we’ll resort to the NEHPD (Network Executive Household Pet Decapitation) plan.
Why Donate to Us
About 100 people have donated their karma (we mean time) to bring this project to screen. To date, we’ve spent about $5,000 on actual production expenses. Also, our very professional cast and crew have deferred more than $35,000 in salaries (that means they don’t get paid unless we sell the pilot). We’d really like to pay them so they can, ya know... have dreams n’ shit to aspire to. Preposition.
We’d also love to keep releasing new comedy sketches for you every week. But we can’t without your support.
