About this project
The What & The How
Vagabondly Vagrant is a feature length documentary film that centers around the Couch Surfing community and the Non-Profit Organization CouchSurfing.org. CouchSurfing.org is a worldwide network of people that allow travelers to sleep in their homes free of charge, and helps travelers connect with the local communities that they visit.
The film will follow a small crew of young artists and filmmakers as they travel by van across North America staying exclusively with Couch Surfing Hosts. The goal of the journey is to interview Hosts and Couch Surfing Ambassadors in the cities visited in order to document their own personal experiences using the service. The film will also capture the escapades of the film crew's venture Couch Surfing across the United States, simultaneously building and documenting their journey.

I'm a Filmmaker based in Tampa, Florida. While completing my Film and Media BA at the University of Tampa I started my own production company and worked as a Producer, Director of Photography, Camera Man, and Editor on several short films. I have also interned at the Sarasota Film Festival and The American Pavilion at the Festival De Cannes in France.
I try to use my lens to help the community and have volunteered my services with the Supervisor of Elections of Hillsborough County where I live. I have also worked with Creative Loafing and the Southeast Music Alliance to help bring notoriety to local unsigned artists.
In my spare time I play a few musical instruments and drink too much coffee, if there is such a thing.
