It was great to have a chance to help demo the game at Origins. Clever Mojo is a first-class organization, and Dave and Fred are great guys.

Oh; and the build quality is wonderful, even if shuffling zones and buildings is quite a lengthy process. We ended up using the process of evenly dealing the entire "deck" into eight stacks, and then randomly putting one stack on top of another until we had a single "deck".

Some friends and I did our first play-through on the weekend just past. It worked nicely; in the first round we figured out all the rules, and by round three most of us had the strategies down pat.
Also, we played with five players; we brought some poker chips in for bid tokens and a glass bead for the scoring track. On round 1 we handed out four zones and buildings each, but on round 2 and 3 we dealt only three zones and buildings each, to make sure we didn't run out of table.

Simon...I see that you posted the same questions over on BGG. I answered them there so others could benefit from the answers. Here's a link...

First, game is sincerly awesome! Not the best game ever but a really really solid game, a game that can stay for decade on top! Quality production really kick a$$...
But I got couple of questions about the rules and I'M heading for a convention this weekend and i'd really like to solve these interrogations.
1) Scoring : How do we score point?
ex : I place a building tile of 4 points and I got 1 bidding chips under each zone of this building (bonus worth 1 and 3), + I am placing this building on the surrounding area for the 2 zone.
So do I score : 10pts?
or : 4 + 4 (addition of bonus points) + 2 (addition of community point)
or : 4 + 1 + 3 + 1 + 1
if the last case is the good one, can I choose in which order I score point?
2) Bidding chips
Does the bidding chips that will not had be build on stay on the board for the next round? (sorry for my english...)
3) Zoning direction (for round 2 and 3)
Do the zone tile need to be place at the (ex:west) of the starting tile? or place at the (ex:west) of the adjacent tile?
4) Crime Boss
If another player has a bidding token under the building do he score is score normally?

In an odd happenstance, I received the package yesterday (It's great BTW, Very nice heft, can't wait to try it out) and got the e-mail with a tracking number today. Oddly enough, I'm happy about this, as the anxiety of waiting for a package is nullified! Great job guys!
