Rowing by Claude Michelle is a vintage, preppy, classic, timeless lifestyle brand.
This project is for NYFW this September 2012 which we got offered to participate in. The funds will cover the collection, travel and etc.
Claude Michelle is an independent men’s fashion label based in Boston.
We hope you follow our journey and experience every challenge and success with us firsthand, which will all culminate in the release of our Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
About Claude: I developed my love for fashion as a child watching my mother construct garments from scratch. My love evolved into a passion to outfit the sartorially conscious man, and Claude Michelle was born. Nowadays, I spend every free moment developing this line. While it’s taking longer than I’d like (due to a full-time job and the fact that I’m funding everything on my own), I’m still on schedule to launch my premiere Spring/Summer 2013 line in the fall of 2012.
What makes Claude Michelle and Rowing by Claude Michelle unique? Every garment I create for Claude Michelle is 100% made in the USA. Our fabric is purchased from distributors in New York and Los Angeles. The brand itself was conceived, developed, and produced right here in Boston, MA. We love this City and hope that love resonates through all levels of the brand, from concept to the final product.
We focus on classic silhouettes with subtle, built-in details, most of which are just for the wearer to see. We feel this adds a bit of personality and intimacy to each garment, made especially for the guys who put on our clothes.
Where you come in: We are asking for your help with funds to cover textiles, production, and other necessary expenses for an on time delivery date for our Spring/Summer 2013 collection. I've funded everything entirely on my own thus far, and now we need the extra boost to actually make this release possible.
