Hello wonderful CicLAvia backers,
Just wanted to send you all a quick note to let you know that CicLAvia is happening in Los Angeles on 10-10-10! When we originally posted our Kickstarter campaign, we had a September date set, but it is happening on 10-10-10 so please come out and join us if you are in the area. You can find more info, including the latest route map, at www.ciclavia.org.
Secondly, we are finally sending out your rewards this week! Thank you for your patience. If you haven't already gotten back to us about your mailing address and other requested information, please send us a message so that we can mail you something!
See you on 10-10-10,
The CicLAvia team
Update #1: Keep the donations coming! + T-shirts are here!
To our backers,
Thank you so much for helping us reach our goal with your pledges! -- And in half the time we set for ourselves, no less. So, what now? We have 20 days left in our Kickstarter campaign, and we need your continued support in helping us spread the word about CicLAvia to even more people and reaching more backers! With additional funds, we will be able to make Los Angeles' first CicLAvia event a HUGE success in the fall. More donations = more outreach, more people who hear about CicLAvia, more people who come out and play, more CicLAvias in the future!
Additionally, we screenprinted our t-shirts last week, and you can get one by making a donation at the $100 level (or increasing your existing pledge to $100). Check out the photo of CicLAvia supporter Megan Hirsch wearing hers below. These tees are limited-edition and hand-silkscreened, so they are sure to go fast. Get those donations in!
Thank you again for your generous support.
Sincerely,
The CicLAvia team

The CicLAvia steering committee includes members from diverse backgrounds, including bicycle and public space advocacy, graphic design, urban and environmental planning, arts and culture, event production, journalism, and engineering. This coalition’s objective is to institute substantial policy changes that allow Southern Californians to reclaim the streets and make active use of existing public infrastructure.
