Update #30: LAST CALL! The Indie Cred Test under $10!
So as you probably all know by now, the Indie Cred Test is coming out worldwide in the fall via Penguin. Great news, huh?
Well, contractually, I am about to be unable to sell the super nice Chunklet edition so I'm wanting to get the goods into the hands of the people. Until Wednesday, you can buy the Indie Cred Test (with the 25% off discount) for less than ten bucks a pop!

Update #29: Mastodon + El Myr + Newmerica = This
So it's no small secret that the folks at Newmerica were instrumental in helping us achieve our ambitious Kickstarter goal last fall. They're funny. They're inventive. They're our kinda people.
Well, here's their newest project featuring Brent Hinds from Mastodon,

Got a special version of the Fucked Up 12" that is gonna be available for a grand total of 24 hours via the Chunklet site starting tonight at midnight. 30 copies. Similar sleeve to the test pressing, but it's white ink on a black jacket instead of silver.....Just to mess with record collectors. Any excess copies will be sold on eBay to benefit Doctors Without Borders.

Update #27: The Indie Cred Test: Kickstarter Orders Complete!
Yep! My fleshy little digits are done packing up all of your individual orders.
Good news/Bad news.
First the good news. My house has a ton less stuff in it.
Bad news: I miscounted some stuff. Judging by my counts, some people aren't getting the apparel they requested. Needn't worry, I've got extras here. So just contact me directly at henry@chunklet.com and I'll sort you out when your package arrives.
Additionally, the special Kickstarter color of vinyl disappeared before I realized that I didn't have enough for orders. So I improvised. I had extra test pressing sleeves and threw them in. Threw in a couple test pressings too. I don't want anybody unhappy with their premiums, but well, it'll happen, right?
Initial reactions to the book (which is really what this is all for) are glowing which makes me tickled pink. Please contact me directly with any problems/issues with your package once it returns.
And if I haven't said this enough, thanks. Seriously.

Update #26: The Indie Cred Test: Goin' Out The Door!
Oh man, I've now done no fewer than five trips to the post office and the Kickstarter contribs are STILL not all out the door. There's......just......so......darned.....many of you!
The good news is that if you requested just the book, it's en route. International orders and people with special requests are taking a while.
More good news is that my pals Arthur and Jonathan (and Rachel!) have donated their time to fill orders....and that's helped a ton! But I've still got about 150 Kickstarter orders to finish. So please, bear with me.
A bit of bad news: I've been notified that some of you have received your packages with the Fucked Up 12" banged up. Please, don't blame me. Blame the gorillas at the post office. And if it's that big of a deal, I can sort you out with a replacement. No bigs.
So yeah, please be patient. And if you don't believe all the hard work that goes into getting these to you, just look at the back of my buddy Arthur's pick up from Saturday! And you should've seen it on Friday! Oy vey.
And PLEEEEEASE tell your friends about the book and that it's available for sale. DIY. It's the new black.

Henry H. Owings is a writer, graphic designer, semi-professional heckler, BBQ enthusiast and dog lover. He is the Editor-In-Chief and publisher of the no-holds-barred chronicle of the music industry, Chunklet Magazine. He has been the guiding force behind two books that carry the Chunklet moniker: "The Overrated Book" (Last Gasp) and "The Rock Bible: Unholy Scripture For Fans & Bands" (Quirk). Henry is a Grammy Award nominee for box set design and a record producer for comedians Brian Posehn (Relapse) and Patton Oswalt (Sub Pop & Warner Bros.). Over the past two decades, Henry has also at various times worked as a booking agent, DJ, promoter, record label boss, and tour manager. When he's not busy with all of this, he plays whirlyball which is basically polo in bumper cars. Team Chunklet competes against touring rock bands and is currently boasting 61 wins and zero losses. Henry lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, Sarah, and his two Australian Labradoodles Bun E. Carlos and David Lee Roth.
