Freedom lies two towns away. . . Three outlaws on the run, headed for Mexico. In their way? Empty pockets and a twisted sheriff.
A short film, produced by the students enrolled in the Academy of Media and Entertainment, a unique small learning community program in a public school setting at Calabasas High School. Our students represent the next generation of media makers and have garnered numerous awards and recognition for their work. This year, the first senior class is graduating and are currently engaged in producing their capstone project, a "modern western". As a public school we have an extremely tight budget that won’t provide for renting locations, equipment, set decoration, costumes, and props. We’re hoping that Kickstarters will be able and willing to help support this project and this generation of future filmmakers.
