The film you so generously supported earlier this year is now finished. Today, we start screening the film publicly...with events scheduled all across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, California...and even more to come.
We will be sending the film to several key film festivals. No guarantees that we will screen at these festivals or win prizes. But...TAKEN IN has turned out quite well. We are hopeful.
Most importantly, it's time to send YOU your rewards for backing the film.
Over the next couple of weeks we will begin shipping packages directly to you. If you gave $50 or more, you will receive a DVD copy of the film. If you gave $100, you will get a DVD and signed copies of the screenplay and film poster. If you are a $500 backer, you will get a DVD, screenplay, and framed copy of the film poster.
Of course, you all are listed in the film's credits. :-)
I hope to see and speak to you in person over the next several weeks to shake your hand and thank you face-to-face. If I don't, I hope the small rewards and high quality of the film we've made are sufficient expressions of my gratitude.
(Emily and I do hope to have you on board for the next film, too! But that's another story for another time.)
