Update #4: When time isn't quite your own, and Internet access is spotty at best...
Update #3: We're here!
Update #2: Wow!! Celebration!
We made our goal!! John, Lon, and I rehearsed today for tomorrow's concert at the Hunter Museum, and it's sounding pretty good! (John and I both agree that we'd like to be able to pull Lon around in a little red wagon and have him play the soundtracks to our lives. He's beyond awesome, he really is.) Remember that if you're a backer of our Kickstarter campaign, your name is on the guest list for the Hunter event, so just show up at 6 to enjoy the museum and our music.
You'll probably be able to sense our excitement for this Belgium trip. It's all suddenly very real, thanks to your generous support. Another sidenote: Myriam DeBonte, one of the coordinators in Flanders, told me over Facebook today that we set a good example for other Ethno participants to follow in the coming years, regarding how to organize a delegation and gather the support needed to make the trip happen. She's a great organizer herself, so this is quite a testament to our network. Thank you all so much for helping us reach our goal and show the world how much we're loved by our music-lovin' community!
See some of you tomorrow at the Hunter!

Update #1: John, Lon, and Christie at the Hunter Museum - June 30, 6-8pm
On the day before this Kickstarter fundraising window closes, the three of us will perform on the patio outside of the Hunter Museum. Thursday, June 30th, 6-8pm. We'll each play some of our "solo" material and then show off a few things as a trio. We're all looking forward to our adventure together in Flanders, and I think you'll hear this excitement in the music. Plus, we're celebrating the recent release of Lon's new cd, "Home to the Highway"! Come party with us at the museum! There will be a bar and refreshments, and of course one of the best views in town. Regular museum admission gets you into the concert, and members get in free.
To all of our wonderful friends who have backed our project already (or will pledge in the next few days): We're putting your names on our guest list for this event, so please come if you can!
