About this project
Thank you for finding your way here! I am a Kindergarten teacher by day and a singer-songwriter by night. For the past couple years, I’ve been writing songs and playing out here and there, first in the San Francisco Bay Area and now in Western Massachusetts. These songs are ready to be collected, recorded, and shared with a wider audience. But doing all this takes money, so I need your help.
My hometown, nestled in the Berkshire mountains, is host to many beautiful things, including a little studio “Off the Beat-n-Track.” The person who runs this studio, Todd Mack, is more widely known for his music community & non-profit, FODfest. He's a wonderful musician, person, and creative thinker. The funds I raise here will create a full-length album in Todd's studio, including production, engineering and mastering. These funds will support local business and promote local music. If I'm lucky enough to exceed my kickstarter goal, I'll be able to include even more songs.

Grew up in Western Massachusetts. Dad was a trucker, builder, and minister. Mom ran a state-funded daycare.
Studied at a mid-western liberal arts college. Lived in Boston for a while. Picked up a guitar in earnest.
Fell in love, moved to the Bay Area, and became an elementary school teacher. Continued to write songs, began to play out at coffee shops and other such places.
Decided to move closer to my family. And here I am, teaching kindergarten in the Pioneer Valley, writing music, playing more songs, and building community through music.
