It has been a lifelong desire of Chrissy Hogue's to perform a One Woman Show. When she teamed with Playwright Robert Lynn to discuss the possibility of getting one written for her that they could take on the road all of her dreams came true in less than a week!
The Stupid Economy is a seriocomic piece following the lives of six different women along their journeys of unemployment, poverty, and returning to the workforce after years of stay at home mothering. All of the women are drastically different and come from different paths of life but they share a common experience - fear. The same fear we all experience in such a political and economical climate.
This theatrical journey will have you laughing and crying, celebratory and mutinous.

Because of my contract with Gorilla Tango I am unable to give tickets to the Chicago Premiere. We may discuss the possibilities outside of that privately. They will, however, include tickets to touring productions.
