A burglar is on the run in nothing but his boxers after a botched robbery, and must convince his friend to be his getaway driver.

The Robbery is a short film that I am directing for my school's Short Media class. It is the story of Jimmy Crawford, an unsuccessful cat burglar who is on the run in a residential area in nothing but his boxers after a botched robbery. He calls on his old high school friend Paul Thomas to help him out. Paul agrees, but when he finds out what Jimmy was doing, Jimmy is forced to explain how he ended up in just his boxers, and convince Paul to drive him to safety.

I have assembled an extremely talented crew to help me bring this vision to life. This includes Bruno Gomes (Script), Brandon Garcia (Director of Photography), Tiffany Ireland (Producer), Marcus Meisler (Graphic Design artist), Victoria Ma (Actress), Sam Grice (Assistant Director), and Mark Poyadue (Audio Engineer). These talented people are just as passionate as I am to help me make the best possible film that I can, and because of this most of them are working for free.

All donations to my film will go towards helping pay for equipment rental, gas for transportation, props and wardrobe items, food for my cast and crew, and promoting the film when it is finished. Even the smallest donations will go a long way, and if you can't give anything you can still help us make this film by sharing this page with your family and friends.

This will be my directorial debut, and I am very excited to embark on this filmmaking journey. I am extremely passionate about this project, and with your help I will be able to complete it. You can follow the progress of the film in the following locations.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter

The biggest challenge for me to face while making this film is the small time frame I have to film it. This project is for a class, and we are only allowed to film during one specific week. Having production days that everyone can make it to is a bit challenging for such a short window to work in. If I can't get it done in that week, then I've failed my task.
