Hello everyone!

As you guys know, there was an issue with fake donations, even though my page continues to say 'funding successful' - Kickstarter did not double check to see if the cards donating were legit / if the donators had the $ in their accounts. There were TONS of fake donations, but I will just show one of the pages as an example. (For those skeptical, though I have all proof that I only got 4k. Moving right along to the point of this post----)

The music is coming out in a couple of days! To catch you up to speed: I used the money that was donated (around 4k) and even some of my own and had enough to do 5 songs! The email accounts I have on file of those who donated have been emailed with all the songs :)

I'm so incredible proud of these songs.. I co-wrote 4 of the songs with my good friend Isaiah, and finally I wrote my first song I've ever written the melody AND lyric 100% on my own. That song is 'Goodbye'. This EP really was a spiritual awakening for me as a songwriter. I have been writing non-stop melodies & new music weekly and can't wait to record even new music & if this goes well, I will record those!

Unfortunately I am sad to report that a huge amount of the donations for the album were in fact not by real donators. Because of that, the amount of songs I will be ale to record for the album will not be the same...

I am still going to try to pay for as much of the album as I can but I will have to wait a longer period to record the full album due to the fact 70% of the donations were fake.

For those of you that DID donate- I will still do my best to put out as many songs with the donations as possible with the money donated and I will be in touch with those of you who donated with rewards & whatnot!

Of course this will change whether or not there will be physical CD's, etc because that no longer fits into my budget... Phone calls, hand written letters, and everything else will still be rewarded. But due to the fact I now do not have the $ for album distribution- that part will have to be changed.

As you all know, we did it! We reached the goal for the album. (Though there were a lot of bogus/prank donations, so I am still sorting through which payments actually were real/went through and once I do that, I will be contacting those who donated and getting you your rewards!)

I'm also going to LA at the end of the month & possibly setting up a music video. I already have what I think will be the first single recorded. (I can say HANDS DOWN, it is my best song-writing/song to date) I am still working out the overall direction of the album as a whole.

I want this album to reflect what I actually listen to... to give a better idea of me, rather than the persona of 'Chris Crocker'. Me the person. Not the cartoon.

I can always create catchy dance music and there will still be that within the album to satisfy those of you who like that aspect of my music.. but I also want to create the album I have always dreamed of.. which will include more songs that show who I am as a lyricist and song-writer.

ANYWAYS! That's all stuff to leave up to me. In the meantime, I just want to thank you all SO much for donating and just know I am at work on this & getting inspired everyday. I do not have a deadline (as we all know, inspiration runs on its own time..) but I do promise that whenever it is done- it will be my best work yet!

Only 13 hours to go, and it looks like we're fully funded if all the donations go through!

*fingers crossed* I love you all SO much and I can't wait to debut the new music!!!!!!!!

Cannot BELIEVE we are this close to $20,000. This will fully fund the album and hopefully give extra for a music video. You guys are so amazing!

The songs are coming along very strong. The $ will pay for the production/beats/mixing. As for now, there are just demos with guitar/vocals but once the funding is sent, I will begin on the actual recording of the songs in the studio.

I already have the album art work / title DONE! Cannot wait to share with all of you!

PS- Working on a distribution deal to also make PHYSICAL CD copies!
