Update #6: Shipped!
Update #5: shirts ordered!
Update #4: front and back!
The design is almost done; I still need to tweak the color and placement a little, but the backer-only back turned out pretty well. Thanks to Brent Bernasconi, Peter Riesett, and Bruce Allen for sending in the drawrings.

Now it's just a matter of placing the order with Planet Apparel, our awesome shirt printer. If you backed the project, please make sure you fill out the information request I sent. Otherwise I'll order you a unisex large in olive with the backer back (defaults all the way, in other words) and hold it at the Emporium until you do. :)

Update #3: Soooo... what's up?
Update #2: More colors, and a new backer bonus
Hey SpaceUp fans,
The shirt is in the works, and here's a preview of what it looks like so far. Remember that the production shirt will only be made in one awesome color (olive), so if you want to choose your own color you need to be a backer.
I need your help to dial this up from awesome to EPIC. When the backers saw the first preview, they had lots of great suggestions for other equations and sayings to put on the shirt, enough to fill both front and back.
So why not? Let's fill this thing UP! Here's how:
0. Be a backer. Only backers will get the awesome double-chalkboard-all-the-way version.
1. Draw your favorite space equation, phrase, or figure on a chalkboard, whiteboard, or paper, take a photo of it, and email the photo to me at info@spaceup.org.
2. I'll trace all the backer drawings and add them to the back of the shirt. The backer-only back. Full on. All the way.
So what are you going to draw, backers? A little #thrust perhaps? The rocket equation? Dig deep, and send me the awesome. For SCIENCE.
Yours,
~chris

Masten's calculation, as mentioned in my comments from the last post. Too lazy to reproduce ;) I also drew a little moon on there somewhere and had "Todd" with an arrow pointing to it..but you know, personal preference for some reason ;) It was well after cameras were put away.

Too lazy? Then convince someone else to draw it and send it in. If it ain't drawn, it ain't on. :)
