About this project

This summer Chicken & Beef Presented Monkey Gang The Mockumentary to NYC as well as Baltimore. This promotional video shows the professional, yet grass-root, style of marketing & promotion of the crew & company of "Monkey Gang" as they promote Baltimores first advanced screening and collect surveys at Baltimores Famous ArtScape 2011 (an annual art festival). Donate to this revolutionary undependent film so that we may continue to screen our film in as many states & countries as possible with out/before major distribution. Our next stop is Hollywood to premiere the mockumentary at Hollywood Black Film Festival, and then we're off to Boston! Montaigne Phillip Massac

Connected as Montaigne Phillip Massac (1410 friends)

Born Montaigne P. Massac to a single Haitian mother in Brooklyn (Brownsville) New York, and raised in Far Rockaway, Mr M. would learn to balance morals taught by his mother with his street smarts and survival instincts. He would later be known to his peers as Logic. On his search for a better life Logic went on to use his street savvy and his G.E.D to enter B.M.C.C at the age of 17 for Business Administration and later Business Management. Yet with his social skills being greater than his skills as a student of institution, he excelled at his hands on experience; via his own student organization "Street Smart Movement" (founded by himself and his comrades in 2004). This allowed him to network with business professionals and revolutionaries as well as encourage other students and "street" persons alike to continue to work at their goals in order to create a self made network of like minded individuals. He also started learning video and audio technologies.

His self made experience and talents led him to work with and gain mentors in the "underground" / "independent businessmen crowd". He assisted with event planing & production, promotions & marketing, and event hosting, for Lyricist Lounge as well as Lyrics To Go Ent. Given the popularity of the name "Logic" in the "Underground" / "Conscious" scene and Logic's love for New African Culture, love for comedy movies, jokes and love for networking, his friends would soon affectionately label him Jah Logic "The Fresh Prince of Zumunda".

Jah Logic didn't finish school but decided to get into the field of Youth Development where he taught music business in South Bronx high schools. He also taught life skills in Juvenile Jails. Around this time Jah Logic fell back from the industry lifestyle to secure the
steady income needed to be a self sufficient adult, known to the youth and social work professionals as Mr M. Yet his network stayed strong. Therefore when his associate M.C Mighty Casey publicly known for his spoof Rap Song "White Girls" (aired on B.E.T uncut) stated he wanted to shoot a movie / spoof of the state of Hip Hop Mr M knew who
to work with and already had good relations with them from past video work he assisted in producing.
After a couple years of research, planning and writing, Mr M would become the Executive Producer / story board writer / Director and one of four main characters of the "Monkey Gang" The Mockumentary and C.E.O of Chicken & Beef inc.
