Help the Chicago Outfit Roller Derby League launch their unique, weekly webseries, "Derby Little Secrets!"
Roller Derby is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and since 2007, The Chicago Outfit has been skating to the top with our own particular brand of class, sass, and dignity. Today, we're 5th in the North Central Region and a proud member of WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association).
Always on the lookout for new ways to reach our audience, our latest project is a webseries called Derby Little Secrets. This series, hosted by EGen.TV, will follow the talk show format made popular by shows like The View, and will feature not only interviews with skaters from the Outfit, but also a weekly run down of the headlines from throughout the derby world. Our goal with Derby Little Secrets is to provide our current audience with inside information about their favorite skaters while simultaneously educating and informing new viewers about Roller Derby.
This Kickstarter will help us film and promote our pilot episode, scheduled to air April 7 at 11:00am. The pilot will, in turn, help us to secure more permanent funding and sponsorship so that we can continue to bring Derby Little Secrets to you on a weekly basis.
