I've got the yarn dyeing bug, and I want to expand my talents and share the fruits of my labor with you!
I'm Becka and I like yarn.
A lot.
I knit, crochet, even spin yarn, but when the weather gets warm I love to dye yarn. What I really want to do is dye up a whole lot of different colors to work on building a more extensive portfolio of dyed yarns. You know, dye my hands green (again).
This is where you come in.
Support my Kickstarter project at a yarn level and start dreaming. Once we're funded, send me a list of colors, a picture that inspires you, anything that you would like translated into yarn. I will use natural dyes, acid dyes, drink mixes, anything I can get my hands on to turn your idea into a skein of beautiful yarn.
Even if stash enhancement is not in the cards for you right now, every supporter will be inundated with eye-candy from every stage of the process. Virtual stash doesn't count!
Funding for this project will be used to order supplies, ship out rewards, and send me to a three-day conference to share and increase my dyeing skills. This means even more beautiful yarn for you and for knitters/weavers/crocheters/crafters to come.
Check out my previous work and get to know me and Knitting Wounded Yarns / Cherry Bomb Knits on Ravelry and at the Flickr account below. Please contact me with any questions and thank you for checking out my project!

If you need more than one skein of matching yarn, pledge enough for what you'll need. I'll be sure to ask you about mixing and matching your skeins when I send out the reward surveys.
-
Absolutely! Just let me know and I'll forward the survey to your giftee. Also, if you want to get a reward for you and a friend I am happy to send out seperate surveys to each of you.
