Chelsea Berry is heading in to the studio to record her full-length, full-band album- let's make a record!!!
My name is Chelsea Berry. I'm a touring singer/songwriter currently based out of Gloucester, MA.
In the last three years, I've moved from barrooms to music halls and theaters, and have been been privileged to share the stage with some of the biggest musicians on some of the most renowned stages in my genre.
Most of the gigging I've done so far has been solo, but recently, I've begun working with a band and am loving the sound, the energy, and the fun of sharing the stage with other people who are as excited about the music as I am!
So it's time for me to make a new album- and this time with a full band. As an independent artist without the support of a record label, the budget for recording an album has to be significantly smaller, and funds are always tight.
I've put together a plan, including a budget to cover recording, mixing, mastering, and pressing- for a total of $10,000.
If the goal of $10,000 isn't met, your cards will not be charged and no prizes will be mailed out.
If we raise more than $10,000, the money will go towards promotion, touring, equipment, and all those other things that it takes get a new project off the ground.
The album will be released in February of 2013 and the release concert will be held at the Shalin Liu Perfomance Center in Rockport, MA.
From the beginning, it has been your support that has made it possible for me to follow my dream and make a career out of music- I cannot thank you enough for all you have given and continue to give.
