The app failed after almost four months of taking 1 second video a day. I loved this app but now it won't open. Repeated requests for help have gone unanswered. I would hope an update to address this problem, which seems to have happened to a number of users, would be issued soon. It's very discouraging to have backed a project for which the developer was so enthusiastic, only to be left holding the frozen app bag.

I know it isn't ideal, but as a work around to importing video date stamp issue you can get around it by changing the date on your phone.

I turn on airplane mode, then go into time/date, turn off automatically set time and then switch the date to the whatever I want the video appear in the app. Then go into iMovie, import video and export to the camera roll. And it will show up in the app under that date.

Would be nice if they added any video choice to the menu option that lets you add text or a photo... Seems like a logical place for that to be.

FYI Apparently the company that Cesar hired to create the app is working on a bug fix for the missing March 10th. (You can find this info out if you go on Twitter)

For the most part Cesar seems to be doing his own thing and this has fallen to the APP developer to maintain/support - I'm disappointed I supported this kickstarter as much as i did.

I'm finding the same as Fernando Obieta, that the app's data is taking up a lot of space. It's already 700MB for me, for what is barely a minute of video. Sadly I only have a 16GB iPhone, so it's a bit space consuming :(

I really don't want to delete the videos from the app until I've got a year (I want to do a year mashup)…

There seems to be an issue when backing up videos onto the computer. When I back up my phone, the photos in the camera roll are deleted but are then moved to the folder on my computer that syncs with my phone. I still retain the photos and videos on my phone, but the date changes on each picture/video to the day I sync with my computer. Please fix this because now all my content in the app is under one day :(

For now the ideas is great, but the app is absolutely useless. Biggest drawback: no option to save the videos in a separate folder. All goes to camera roll and is deleted when I export my photos and videos to the Mac.

The app is getting ridiculously slow and the 'loading your memories' pops up allll the time (quickly check a text or the phone goes to sleep for a second or you accidentally lock and straight away unlock the phone) and takes way too long (the phone screen goes to sleep while its loading memories and so when I wake it up it of course starts again.
Also the mashing seconds is often taking so long that the phone goes to sleep (wake it up and it stops mashing seconds to load memories)

I only have clips from January 8 and have a few days missing and quite a few just use photos... I'm starting to think this will be completely unusable after a whole year of clips if it gets slow and slower.

And if I get a video onto my phone for a previous day, I can't use it! 1se since it only lets me use videos time stamped with the exact day. PLEASE let us override this?! Even if it says 'no videos for today... Click to browse all videos' or something, so we don't accidentally get days wrong.

Hey Cesar. Thanks for making this app. I'm looking forward to watch the entire video in a year... but a few questions/problems:
1. PLEASE! Give us a way to access the whole pool of videos and photos on our iPhone! The problem is, that the app doesn't take the date when the videos was made. It takes the date when it got sent to the phone... please give us a way to access all content. It's our choice what videos we want to use for the day (even when it's a video from a different day!) The basic intention of the app is still there. (just make a switch in the options or something like that...)
2. The App is taking a realy big amount of space. I can't back it up to iCloud anymore, because 1SE is too big... but there are not a lot of videos in it (everyday a second since the 11th of January). It can't be that this got sooo big. (800MB)
3. The app still crashes/freezes a lot and takes a lot of time to start or just edit the snippets (I'm using an iPhone 5)

Has anything been done in the last month on fixing the bugs that still exist in the iOS app? No updates on bug fixes since Jan 14th. Still having crashes, super slow to load even when just flipping back from momentarily checking email, scrubber is frustrating, push notifications have stopped. Devs have stopped responding to bug reports. I love this thing but it feels worryingly like 1SE has been given up on. We're using this app every day, please make it pleasant to use.

Also, the Facebook group was estimated delivery Dec 2012. Still waiting. :/ It can't take that long to set up a group, surely? Want to share ideas but the year's ticking away. :(

56k $ collected and you left us with this barely usable, unstable app that was obviously not good enough to be released. Been over a month now and still no word on fixes for the constant crashes and the poor interface for editing.
Feels sad and makes me lose faith in kickstarter projects.

I just updated my 4S and happy to report that 1SE video clips are still there - even the ones I had deleted (originals) on purpose.

Still crashes from time to time and slow to 'load memories'. Still, I learn something and reinforce my own memories every time I look at the videos and create the snips.

Another weird thing - the daily notifications have stopped? I still try to remember... :)
Love this concept... It has profound implications for the those of doing Memory Research!

updated my iPhone4s to the latest iOS firmware and when iCloud restored my 1SE app, all the videos i had were gone. (yes i did back up the app). The storage says there is over 350mb inside 1SE but there are no videos. strange.

Question:Once I add a photo with text on missed video day and I change my mind and want to use another one how do I delete and replace with different one? It seems not to be able to do it. Once you choose a video/photo that's it you can't go back. Also when you said about sending you videos to do the compilation for us how will be do it? Where is the mash up video saved on? Does it need to be uploaded to you tube first? Can it be saved on IPHOTO as a MOV? I love this but lots of questions not covered in the FAQ.

I downloade the update. The app only shows dates from January 21st onwards now. I hope my video clips (Jan 1-20) aren't lost forever. Also, one of the date's clip still isn't showing in the mash up. I still love the concept of the app but I'm losing steam. Can't really get excited anymore when I'm worried that the clips/dates may just disappear one day.

Got the new update. But it still fails to detect ALL video and photos I put back on the phone via Photo Sync in iTunes. They show up in the Photo app, but 1SE only detects 1 photo in one of the directories (where there's about 20 videos and 7 other photos).

I have an issue on one video. I had a 1 sec video but I went in to put some text on it and it just did the text on a black background and not the video. So I took out the text but it now just plays a black 1 sec like there is no video. However if I click on the date it will still play the video. How to do I make it play the video again and not just a black slide?

AND

when I remove the original movies from the iPhone after I selected the snippets from those movies, the calendar seem to remove the days at which the movies were taken.. which means I loose the snippets on those days also.... which is crap..

I have to reload all the movies on the iPhone again and redo the snippets,leave the movies on the iPhone which is a waste of space

I love the concept of this app, but as many others have already stated, it needs some major work. I have an iPhone 4S and this app crashes constantly... probably about 1 of every 3 snippets I try to save. Sometimes it will crash even when I am not looking for snippets. Plus, is there any way to delete unwanted compilations? I can't seem to find an option.

Darn... I think this app is just a mess still.
I'm sure there will be an update - but right now things are vanishing and messing up...

Quick Notes Of My Issues With Latest Version:
- Must Restart App to get sync content in the app
- Images are not handled gracefully (might be nice if they rendered a pan/zoom movement)
- Images do not show as a yellow available content box (might be nice to have a different color videos vs images)
- Content that appeared saved with out any crashes - vanishes when I remove old content and syn from different folders
- Camera is terrible crashes the app most of the time (Using a 4S by the way) Might be better just to link to the iPhone camera app directly
- Would like to have an option of a larger 1 second scrubber - miss the sucker and you lose your almost perfect place

Hmmm So I backup stuff all the time - but I was trying to go back and sync older videos and images to the iphone - i had to restart the iphone to make the app find the content - but there are no orange image markers for days that have images so I have a very large black calendar that i have to click into to see if there are images for that day

Just me it's doing this to or special?

Really disappointed with this app. I realize I'm using an iPhone 3GS but it crashes everytime I try and compile my stuff together. It crashes when I try to add a second of video. It crashes when I try to add a photo.

Don't advertise this for 3GS if it isn't going to actually work with it. I love the idea but really disappointed I cant use it when I was expecting to.

I removed the videos from my iPhone 5 (saved them to iPhoto on my Mac just in case I would need then again) and the 1SE still retained the one second videos. No problem at all. That is the way the app is set-up to work.
