Set in a fictional 1960's Thebes that closely evokes the same decade of our own country, Antigone is a story of the budding women's rights movement, as well as the story of a man who could not see past tradition and his ingrained sense of honor in order to adapt to changing times. This Greek tragedy, adapted to almost contemporary times, brings a spark of life and rebellion to a story thousands of years old, but still very much relevant to our lives today.

Cold Basement Dramatics bring to you an intimate storefront theatre version of the Greek tragedy. By helping fund this kickstarter you are helping CBD pay for things like programs, posters, the set, costumes, props, lighting equipment and the performance space. We don't expect you to just give us that money though.  We are offering some great rewards for your contributions:

You get a 2 - 3 minute YouTube video from a Cold Basement Dramatics company member or participating cast / crew member about why you are awesome. Don't know anyone in the show? We will make up some fantastic facts.

If you are one of the lucky 10 people to donate for the 1964 special you get 2 tickets to any performance of Antigone that you would like. With general admission being $20 it's a fantastic deal.

$25.00 + Both Buttons plus a Ticket

Did you miss the 1964 special? Here is your chance to not only get a ticket for any performance of Antigone but also you get both the Creon Campaign Button and the Antigone Protest button.

$35.00 + The Two Best Seats

In Oracle Theatre's intimate 27 seat house there isn't a bad seat. If you donate $35 you get two tickets total to any performance of Antigone in the best seats of the house as chosen by the director.

$50.00 + Signed Poster and Program

For $50 you get a copy of the show's poster and program signed by the entire cast, design team and director/playwright. 

$100.00 + Campaign Video

If you are generous enough to donate $100 we will make for you a campaign video as though you were running for office. What office? You choose. We will have the video ready in time for election day - November 2nd.
