Update #2: Homeland benefit wine tasting December 6
Hello darling,
Thanks to you, Homeland is rolling toward the premiere February 25-27. I just signed the contract for the performance space a bit more than a week ago. I'm so excited. We're planning a wine tasting benefit for Sunday, December 6. You should be getting the email invitation today or tomorrow. If you have contributed at least $25, you can redeem your cocktail party prize. If you'd like to attend, please email me (jeramy@catscratchtheatre.org). If you don't receive the email, please let me know, as it means I don't have your current email address.

Update #1: Thank you!
Good morning!
Thank you to all of you for backing Homeland. It wasn't looking promising at the beginning of the week, but together you kicked in more than $1,000 in just a few days. We are 125% funded for this goal. That's exciting news. The overall budget for Homeland is just under $19,000, so all money raised past the goal will go toward other budget items like paying dancers, musicians, lighting and costume designers, and paying for the remainder of the performance space.
I look forward to keeping you updated on the progress of Homeland and to inviting you to the show in February!
xo,
Jeramy

FLICfest is a project of Jeramy Zimmerman/CatScratch Theatre and is a co-production with the Irondale Center
CatScratch Theatre is a scrappy band of misfit dancers. We dance anywhere that we can and even some places where we can’t. We’re classy and well-trained, but irreverent. We’re usually dressed to the nines.
We believe that art is powerful. It has the power to unite and heal. It has the ability to promote peace, empathy and understanding. It can spark a revolution or an economic revitalization.
We have a strong commitment to and history of community activation. Our earliest performances were guerrilla – taking dance to the people instead of convincing the people to come to us in a theater. Over the years, we have stayed true to our roots by public performance that seeks to alter the way that New Yorkers view and interact with their environment.
