About this project
Wack in the Box is an entertainment app., based on Brian Castleforte’s original Tribalnots characters, featuring Wack, a very moody little monster with a bad attitude and a big bite.
Wack is a wild little pet monster who lives inside your mobile device. You can torment and play with him, and interact with him in lots of fun ways, whenever you like. But beware, tease him too much and he just might chew your finger off, or worse yet, tear up your device from the inside out. This isn’t just some lame virtual pet, this is Wack we are talking about. Wack has attitude. Wack is awesome.
There are piles of games and apps created by programmers. But there seem to be a shortage of great apps that are created by artists. We are a team of two artists/designers/animators, with a vision of exciting and fun applications that are not only well made, but good looking too. Featuring original, interesting characters, artisticly appealing visuals, and stimulating game play. Because we want really cool apps to play with, and we know you do too.
Wack & friends have been making people smile, in many forms over the last couple of years, from illustrations and canvas prints, to vinyl, resin and paper toys, laser etched skate decks, apparel and more. They have been featured in a few, quite successful art shows, from LA to Indianapolis. And now Wack is ready for the big, er, little screen. The one on your phone.
With your help, we can finally get Wack in the Box into the App store. We have been hard at work on this app for almost 2 years. We have poured our hearts into the design, development and animation of this app, and now we just need to get it all programmed. And that is what this money will be used for. And if there is more than 100% funding, the rest will be used for marketing and further development of future versions of Wack in the Box.
We have a slew of original games and apps planned, once we get our first app into the app store. And, for all of you non Iphone users out there, fear not, as we also have plans to port our apps to other smart devices such as the Droid.
With plans for a follow up GAME to Wack in the Box, as well as insane NiceBunny games, awesome kids games, exciting papertoy apps, original artist apps and more, we promise to feed your need for original, creative, artist driven content, the likes of which have yet to be seen. But we need to get this version off the ground first.
