Thank you everyone for each and every pledge. You have contributed to Beto's Burrito surpassing our original Kickstarter goal more than twice over! We continue to be amazed with every new pledge that comes in and are ecstatic at the book's reception. In fact, we're only $243 away from the $5000 mark, which is truly exciting. This book is just getting better and better.

I thought I'd share some of our next steps (that's my thought bubble below). We're getting quotes from local printers, thinking about what happens to the project post-Kickstarter, and thinking about distributing books locally. If you have or know of any small book stores that might like Beto's Burrito on their shelves, please put them in touch.

We are going to up our original print run from 100 (since over 100 people have since spoken for a copy of the book) and aim for something more like 500-1000. One thing I've learned from talking to printers is that the minimum run needed to make offset printing a viable option (offset is generally higher quality than digital printing) is about 1000 copies. I'd like to get there if possible! Any expression of interest helps cement our future plans, so please keep spreading Beto's story.

We're grateful, too, to Kickstarter for including our project in their newsletter and on the homepage. What a whirlwind it's been so far. Thank you all, again, and I'm excited to see what the remaining 17 days will bring!
