Update #2: "Spindle" now on iTunes!
Hello to all you generous people who donated to the Kickstarter campaign to raise money for The Fool’s release and promotion. The goal was met and then surpassed by more than $2,500. Thank you so much for your pledge! The fund raising exceeded my wildest dreams, and I can’t thank you enough for your support and belief in me and my music. I appreciate it more than you know.
We’re getting very close to July 13 when The Fool will be released. I can’t wait for you to hear the 13 songs. Writing and recording them was a labor of love and I’m so excited to share them with you.
I’m also excited to tell you that “Spindle,” the first single from The Fool, is now available on iTunes and CD Baby. You’ve already done so much to support me, and I hope you will continue to by buying “Spindle.” Share the links with your friends. Spread the word in blogs and forums that you visit. Create an email chain letter and ask people to pass it on. Make it viral in as many ways as you can.

Let’s create a perfect storm of exposure, so that when The Fool is released, people will be primed for it.
Thank you again for donating and giving The Fool the wings to fly. My team will be working to get everyone’s rewards out to them soon.
I truly have the best fans in the world!

Update #1: Let's Fly Even Higher!
First off, I want to say thank you so much to my amazing Street Team and to everyone who donated to my Kickstarter Campaign. I never would have thought we would achieve the goal so quickly. I was completely shocked when I realized we had reached the goal in less than 48 hours!
But I shouldn't have been shocked. I should have known that my fans would do something as amazing as this. You guys never cease to amaze me with your love for me and my music. I am so incredibly blessed to have your support and dedication. You will never know how grateful I am.
I know this might sound crazy, but I have a feeling that we can "fly" even further. I think we can make $5,000 happen! There are so many costs involved with the promotion and production of this CD. One thousand CDs cost $1,000. I want to share The Fool with the world, and I know to do that we are going to need a lot more than one thousand CDs.
So, what do you say? Can we make $5,000 happen?
Let's throw in a little game changer for some fun! How about the person whose donation gets us to $4,000 or above gets a signed lyric sheet of their choice? The person who gets us to $4,500 or above gets a "mystery package" full of goodies and a signed lyric sheet. And the person who makes the pledge that gets us to the final $5,000 mark will get the choice of having a song written about them by me or having me cover a song they'd like to hear! Does that sound good? Large donations are not required. If your $20 or $50 or whatever you donate kicks the total over one of the amounts above, that prize is yours.
Your support has been incredible, and I want you to know how much I appreciate each and every one of you. I can't wait to share The Fool with the world, and I am so grateful to have you come along with me on my journey.

having made the daring decision to leave his successful fashion house, Skin.Graft, Cassidy has never looked back, spending the last two years working non-stop on his first and true love of music. And his choice has proven to be the perfect one. He formed his own record label in 2010, Sunshine Rebel Records, through which he releases his music, music videos, merchandise, and even an online magazine.
His first EP, Little Boys and Dinosaurs (released August 2009), reached #3 on the iTunes Electronic charts and garnered over 100,000 hits for his first music video, “Whiskey in Churches,” and a #3 spot on LOGO’s “Click List” for “Daylight Breaks,” his third single off of the EP. The album also staked claim as one of the Houston Chronicle’s “Top Albums of 2009,” alongside Kelly Clarkson, U2, Shakira, and Green Day. His full length debut album, The Fool (released July 2010), has created quite a buzz with such notable exposure as being featured on the home page of Yahoo!Music, an interview with NBC, and multiple write-ups on AfterElton (LOGO’s flagship website), The Fool was produced by Anita Hyde and engineered by Matt Forger, who engineered Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and features guest musicians such as former Doobie Brother Chet McCracken and Larry John McNally, who has written music for The Eagles and Bonnie Raitt.
Since the release, Haley has played numerous successful shows, including one with Madonna’s guitarist Monte Pittman. Most recently, his performance at Galveston Pride was written up as one of Houston’s best shows of 2010. His song, "Daylight Breaks" was recently featured on "So you think you can dance" and he has just released a new self-produced single, "Champagne or Suicide" to rave reviews. The incredible support of his fan base has allowed him to achieve a level of creative output and sustainability that is unheard of for an independent artist in their second year of performance.
