Hello to all of our wonderful backers!

We haven't forgotten about you and we want to keep you updated on Barzan as we move forward.

Thanks to your help we have already begun working with our potential animator to get some test segments done. We will update you once we lock our animator in so you can get as excited as we are about this! PS it's some really cool stuff!

In other news, the Barzan grant writing team has been furiously writing and sending in applications to various national and international granting organizations to help cover the additional post-costs, not raised through Kickstarter, that are necessary to complete the film.

We are proud and excited to announce that we recently received a grant from the Seattle-based non-profit audio arts center, Jack Straw Productions! Barzan was selected to be one of the residents in their Artist Support Program. The film will receive 20+ free hours (with a sound engineer) in their studio! This means that we will be able to professionally record foley sound (the sound for the animation) and potentially sound mix the film!

We are very excited and proud to partner with Jack Straw!

About Jack Straw Productions: Jack Straw Productions(JSP) is the Northwest's only non-profit multidisciplinary audio arts center. A community-based resource since 1962, we provide a production facility that is unlike any other in the region for local artists who work creatively with sound. Jack Straw focuses on annual artist residencies through our Artist Support Program, our Writers Program, and our Gallery Residency Program; art and technology education for all ages; arts heritage partnerships; and radio production. Our full-service recording studio is also available for a range of arts projects.
