Chrysoula Tzavelas, author of the web serial Nightlights, makes her print debut with the contemporary fantasy novel Matchbox Girls.

Help us get ready for the print run by pre-ordering the novel, and possibly getting yourself some fabulous bonuses in the process.

Final Push Super Stretch Goal!

We've decided to go for broke and shoot for a huge super-stretch goal in the last week of the pre-order!

So here's the deal. We're going to go for $5,000. If we make it there, everyone who backs the project for $20 or higher gets the Karen Gadient illustrated Geometric Sight poster. Everyone who backs the project for $40 or more gets a Matchbox Girls nonwoven tote bag.

And here's the big one - everyone who chips in a little bit - $5 or up - gets that mystery grab bag of stuff! You may not get the print edition of the book in the pre-order (but never fear; it'll be available wherever books are sold, including in eBook form, starting February 21), but we appreciate your support, and we'd love to send you some goodies to thank you!

So let's see if we can break the $5,000 mark in this last week of the pre-order!

We've added a new $100 tier, since the handbound editions all sold out to early backers. In this tier, you can get a hardcover - not handbound, but lovely jacketed hardcover - edition of the novel, signed by the author, plus all the other top-tier goodies!

If you previously selected a handbound edition but would prefer to get a hardcover instead, you can swap your reward tier or message us to let us know your preference.

Stretch Goal Achieved!

We've made the $2,000 mark, and we still have 9 days to go!

Now everyone who's backed the project will receive a Mystery Grab Bag full of Matchbox Girls-related goodies, and anyone at the $30 level or higher will get a series of postcards from characters in the novel. Wow!

There's still time to get in on backing the project, and there might even be a last-minute booster goal/reward coming...so tell your friends and let's see how high we can push this!

Stretch Goal #3!

If we reach $2,000 in pre-orders, everyone who backs the project at $20 or higher will get extra Matchbox Girls goodies with their book -  it'll be a mystery grab bag, with anything from stickers to buttons to bookmarks, all of which will be awesome, we promise!

In addition, anyone who has pledged $30 or more will get a postcard mailed to them by the character of their choice from the book each month for four months, beginning around April 2012.
