Kickstarter

I gotta say, when my project was first accepted by kickstarter.com I had no idea what my video concept would be. Then one day, high on caffeine, I wrote this little ditty and everything fell beautifully into place!

This project has been a LONG time coming! I started creating my own music when I was in 8th grade, during a research report I was doing on the guitar. A few learned chords turned into a few original songs which turned into a song a day. I was blessed with a friend, Jerry James, who happened to have some recording equipment and free time. I'd go to his house almost everyday after school and record new ideas or full length songs. 

This project is a coming together of some of the old recordings along with new songs and newer recording styles. It's gonna be very raw but very original and artistic and that's what (after years of shyness and self-discovery) I'm going for!

I'm a huge advocate of creative collaborations, artistic critiquing and inspired sharing of ideas and style and I'm blessed to have two tremendous friends featuring on the album. One is Ray Dalton as seen with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Ray will be duetting on a song called "Whisper" that he co-wrote with me. The other feature is an EXTREMELY talented young man named Joseph Comin. Joseph will be playing guitar to "Lullaby" and "Auburn Sky." Both guitar parts he created with his own inspired and skillful abilities - p.s. He's only 15 years old! 

I've had so much support in putting this project together and now all I need is YOU! I've recorded the majority of the album and I'm in the final stages of mastering and production. In an effort to make my creation as earth friendly as possible I am putting together a website where you can purchase my music and artwork. I will also have eco friendly hard copies available. Your contributions will help bring this project to fruition and help me share it with the World!!!
