Update #12: Buttons, Reports, Updates and more...
Hi everyone! After many months, I'm very happy to say that the rewards will be on their way to everyone shortly. This means Feltron vs Kickstarter Buttons, 2008 Felton Annual Reports, and a very special gift of thanks to everyone who supported the project (more info below).
Project Status Update
We started this process looking to bring a fresh set of eyes to our project stats, and were thrilled to team up with Nicholas Felton. Over several months, Nicholas joined us in exploring numerous directions for project stats -- including more color, new statistical info, and a more interaction interface. We had a great time working with Nicholas, and everyone who participated in the feedback process and skype calls.
As sometimes happens with design explorations like these, this process remains open. For the near future we've decided to keep the project stats the same. Why? Because in many ways they've become an iconic part of Kickstarter. The future may influence us to resurrect some of the concepts from our recent explorations, but for now we're going to keep the big chunky stats. Hope no one is too disappointed, we learned a lot through this process and much of it will help inform decisions in the future.
STUFF FOR THE BACKERS!
The Buttons
We made something special. We did something never before seen. It was technically challenging. A one of a kind. Nicholas designed & Busy Beaver produced an awesome button for this project that's not only 24k Gold as promised, but also GLOWS! That's right! GLOWS!
For those of you who selected the reward tiers with buttons, you now get two. For everyone else, you get one. Double the fun!

The Reports (For our $30 backers)
Mr. Felton's 2008 Annual report, for those that selected this reward, have been in safe keeping and are ready for shipping. They are of course beautiful and will be in your hands shortly.

A special Gift of Thanks (For every single backer!)
We know this project has taken the long road, but not without good reason (see below). So as a thank you to everyone who's supported this project, at every level, we're including a 3-Pack of Field Notes designed & manufactured by our good friends at Coudal Partners & Draplin Design Company. Use it how you wish, with warm wishes from the Kickstarter crew. Perhaps as a book of ideas for your own Kickstarter project!

Hope everyone's summer is going well!
Update #11: Badges!
Update #10: 40 Rewards and counting
Since we've rounded the corner with this project (don't forget; drop your thoughts & reactions for Design Round One and Design Round Two) I thought it would be fun to share some progress on the rewards front.
Pictured below are the 40, beautiful and simply packaged 2008 Annual Reports by Nicholas Felton. Addresses will be printed this weekend and affixed. And the coming week or two we should start to see some designs for the badges we've promised.
Then they get all packaged up and shipped off via post to your home!
Enjoy!
Update #9: Design Round Two
Update #8: Design Round One
Update #7: Share and Share Alike
Update #6: And we're off!
Update #5: More Reports!!!!
Since the Feltron Annual Reports sold out, and we've had more than enough demand, Nicholas was gracious enough to offer up 10 more to keep the train running till the end.
That means there's only 10 Annual Reports remaining, and less than 24 hours to make this project happen. The previous 24 hours were amazing. Let's make the last 24 count! Spread the word, back the project, join in the fun!
Update #4: The Feltron Annual Report: A sneak peek
For those who have not pledged, and weighing your options between one reward and the other, perhaps this will wet your appetite (and sway your vote).
7 Days to go. We're in the home stretch. Spread the word, pledge, and get some limited edition rewards to boot.
Update #3: 757 and counting
It's official. Feltron vs Kickstarter has officially taken flight and entered the friendly skies. Thanks to Sam Rosen of Chicago's The Post Family for pledging today, and rounding out the pledge total to 757. I felt the image below appropriate.
Update #2: Woo hoo! 23% pledged!
First a hearty thanks to everyone who has pledged towards this project in the first few days. We're making solid progress, and it feels good.
And a special thanks goes to our most recent backer, Lewis Winter, who officially put this project over the $700 mark. Thank you Mr. Winter. You are a saint indeed.
I'll be making another update later this week with some fun news about rewards! Keep an eye out.
Update #1: The Badge (or button) of Gold
Since we've got rewards, I wanted to share one of my faves. The Gold Button.
I drove down to meet up with the nice people at Busy Beaver here in Chicago, and they gave me some goodies to take home! I even got the grand tour by Christen & Alex. The best of the bunch, as you'll plainly see, is the little gold dude at the bottom.
This is what we'll be using, and printing Mr. Felton's handy-work on. Can't wait to check it out, and for the lucky 200 of you to receive them in the mail.

@Mike -- glad you got it!
@Rod -- They did, and I'm hoping you've received yours by now. Can you confirm?
@John -- Being in the U.K. they might take a little longer, but I'm also hoping you received yours. lemme know either way.
I've still not seen any rewards for this project. Not even a "sexy virtual badge". [sad face]
@Simon A couple blokes in the office were just talking Feltron so I took quick look back here to see what's what. I too have not seen the "sexy virtual badge". And perhaps the field notes got confiscated at the border. Alas, sad face proliferates.
