About this project
This raw and gritty film will explore issues of gang culture, why youths join gangs, and the complex issues that are connected - drugs, money, friendship, and love.
This film has already been shot. However, we ran out of money by the end of production and now we need to put this thing through post-production. The money will be used to do sound design, music composition, and final color correction. Please help! We are so close to the finish line!

I was originally born in San Francisco, but by the age of 9 had moved around and lived in over 10 different cities worldwide including Beijing, hong kong, taipei, san jose, hayward, oakland, concord, and many other cities in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I moved around from home to home, living with cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and even at one point a sort of foster home. It wasn't until 2nd grade that I was reunited with my mom, who from then on raised me as a single mother and struggled to provide for the both of us.
As a kid my imaginations ran wild and I saw art as a way to forget about all the problems around me. I would make comic strips, draw portraits of disney characters, and paint. later in high school I found a love for poetry and writing.
I started working at the age of 15. I moved out at the age of 16 and have lived on my own ever since. I went to college at UCSD and found my passion for filmmaking there under the study of renowned French New Wave filmmaker Jean-Pierre Gorin.
I am 24 years old as of this year 2010 and I an pursuing my passion in filmmaking. I've directed 6 music videos, and I am currently in post production on my first feature film called "Bang Bang". It was only through the support of my mom and aunts that I was able to raise enough money to get through production. Now I need to find the rest of my funding to get me through the rest of post production. Hopefully I can get some backers who want to help a young filmmaker succeed with a personal and touching film.
