Nest is a non-profit organization connecting women around the world through art, craft and opportunity.
Through its pioneering microbartering model, Nest provides women artisans around the world with the financing, mentorship and market to create and grow successful small businesses.
A powerful extension of the microcredit model, microbartering offers interest-free loans directly to women artisans. Rather than accepting repayment in the form of cash and interest, women repay their loans in the form of product, which are then sold through our established network of marketing channels and partners.
Through this comprehensive, innovative and proven approach, Nest creates lasting social change for women artisan entrepreneurs around the world. Working with women artisans across the globe, from Morocco to Togo to India, we have provided women with the resources to create beautiful, handmade product that nurture individuals, families and communities.
