The Documentary
The final product will be a documentary that focuses on the game of football/soccer and its emotional connection to people from all over the world. The game is loved world-wide and is very unique as it symbolizes a sense of coming-togetherness at a global level.
Each culture and individual around the world plays and loves the game differently, and we want to document this. The film will capture people from all over the world playing the game and we will listen to what they have to say as they express their thoughts and feelings on its significance.
Not Just a Game...
Although the sport is what we will focus the project around, the underlying message of this project goes far beyond that. We want this project to help eliminate racism and embrace each other. There's no denying that our mannerisms and qualities differentiate us, but we share so much in common as well.
If this project can boost the viewers' appreciation on the diversity in our world, all while telling a great story about the love between the game and the people in our world, we will have succeeded with your guys' awesome support.
The Episodes
These episodes are behind-the-scenes videos to accompany our journey. We want to make sure our backers feel involved during our travels, every step of the way.
The episodes will not compromise the final product and will be added on as a fun side project to keep you guys involved as we meet people, go to new places, and undoubtedly run into some bizarre situations. We feel there will be a bunch of events worth filming during our travels unrelated to the main course of the project, and we do not want them to go to waste. We'll upload these depending on Internet availability, but expect 1-2 episodes biweekly.
We want these episodes to not only entertain our backers, but also give a sense for what each country is like. We will seek out fun and unique aspects of every place we visit, and perhaps these videos can serve as sort of a travel guide for those looking to travel in a nomadic fashion!

Why Now?
We wanted to do this project now because the timing cannot be better. We just graduated, are able bodied, own virtually nothing, can withstand extremely low standards of living, and the World Cup is in 2014.

"Join the Party" Package:
During our travels together, we will pay for your meals. If we end up spending the night in a hostel, we will cover that too (be ready to camp). Gifts, clothes, drinks, and paid-entertainment is not included. Please note that we will be traveling as cheap and as light as possible, so do not expect anything more luxurious than a hostel. We do however, have friends in over 20 of the listed countries, and situations may differ when they are kind enough to allow us to stay at their homes.
Also, for productivity reasons, we won't be accepting new party members until after the Oceanic part of our voyage (New Zealoand, Australia, Tonga) and possibly a few countries into Asia. Scheduling during the early parts of the travel will not be as flexible and we need time to get a hang of a few things.
"Homecoming" Package:
Since we will be traveling from east to west, with North America being the second to last continent we visit, we will be making a stop through the U.S. If you have a hometown and a community that could use some showing off we want to come swing by. We've been to about a dozen states in the U.S. and we've got quite a diverse country and we wanna show some of that off while we're back.
Depending on the following we garnish for our episodes, and by this time we will be done with over half of our trip, it's very possible that this would be great for businesses seeking coverage or towns in need of visitors.
