We had an awesome first online concert last night, even with all the iPad glitches 5 minutes before starting. It was an amazing success! I was struggling all day with allergies and panic'd that I wouldnt be able to sing. And you who were there were like a gaggle of geese chatting up a storm through the whole thing! Wish I could have read all the comments but it was a river! So what new songs stood out? I sang "Can't Imagine" "You Make Me Love You" "Say What You Mean" "No Words" "Know That I Know" and my favorite "Nothing To Prove."
Great time on StageIt! Wonderful idea, and a blast watching Bryan live and doing his thing!

We are happy to be able to support a talented artist, someone who is also a loving father and who had such a remarkable father, as well. In this season in which we remember one special baby born in Bethlehem and the two fathers who loved Him so (one earthly, one Divine), Reverend Duncan is surely smiling down on this campaign and celebrating his beloved son's success with the Heavenly Choir this year. As a matter of fact, in my family's small world, my pledge is a huge deal to us. I have 6 kids and a very very low income and we don't even have our own place, we live with other family, but I added to my pledge like I promised that I would. Even though you have met your goal, I wanted to put my increase in because I said I would. What you have added to my life, I will now be able to pass down to my own children and I thank you for this. After the American TV personality Ed McMahon died in 2009, one newspaper headline read, “When it came to being the No. 2 man, he was No. 1.” Best known for his 30-year tenure as Johnny Carson’s late-night sidekick, McMahon excelled at helping Carson succeed in the spotlight. While most entertainers strive for top billing, McMahon was content with a supporting role.
When the apostle Paul gave instructions about how to exercise our gifts as members of the body of Christ (Rom. 12:3-8), he affirmed the value of supporting roles. He began by saying that we should have a realistic opinion of ourselves (v.3), and he concluded with a call to genuine, unselfish love: “Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another” (v.10). Or, as J. B. Phillips translates it, “a willingness to let the other man have the credit.”
Our gifts and abilities come to us by God’s grace and are to be used by faith (vv.3,6) in love and service for Christ—not for personal recognition.
May God grant us the ability to embrace with enthusiasm the supporting roles to which He calls us. The ultimate goal is His glory and not our own.
