About this project
Hi family, friends and fans! here is your chance to be intimately involved with the new Bryan Clark & the New Lyceum Players CD "Southern Intermission". As you may know, I've been hard at work after my last CD "Gossip, Inspiration & Slander". That CD stayed in the Americana top 40 for 2 months and had 4 songs in the hunt for a Grammy! This new CD I'm super excited about and offers something for everyone.
My goal for this project was going back to back the roots. I did it old school with the help of some friends who donated their time and gear to help. In short we tracked it live as a band, used all vintage gear, went back to ribbon mics, and vintage guitars/amps/pedals. Imagine Elvis Costello and Tom Waits meet the Allman Brothers in John Mayer's living room and you get the picture. It's Motown meets Muscle Shoals via Nashville. I also am making a documentary on the making of the CD.
THE GOAL:is to help us complete the full-length CD (including the documentary and mixing, mastering) and follow through with a marketing plan (prirint, radio, TV, film).
HOW TO HELP: there are several ways to get involved and lots of cool rewards for being an integral part of this - no matter what level you choose. every single pledge $1 and up gets you an immediate download of the new single "Transistor Love" available nowhere else until the goal is met!
This pledge drive will last for 45 days. Kickstarter will not charge your credit card until the goal has been reached in that time. If our goal is not reached in the allotted 45 days, there will be no charge to your card at all.
Thank you so much for being a part of this! You are the reason I do it to begin with. Let's make the world a better place by putting some great music in everyone's ears, mind and hearts!
